Bwejuu, on the south east coast of Zanzibar
If you’re seeking a secluded getaway on Zanzibar, this is the place for you. Relish the privacy and luxuries of your very own villa by the ocean, complete with modern must-haves such as Wi-Fi. It’s perfect for couples, families and groups of friends.
Xanadu consists of six villas, all meticulously designed and equipped to provide the perfect luxury getaway. Located on a sandy beach on the south east coast of Zanzibar, the villas are set in flourishing gardens, which provide privacy and seclusion. All bedrooms are en-suite, many with indulgent waterfall showers, and each villa has a living area and private outdoor space including a plunge pool. Air conditioning maintains a pleasantly cool temperature and Wi-Fi enables you to keep in contact with the outside world. A discreet butler service ensures you’ll have all you need throughout your stay.
You’ll be treated to some fine Swahili-inspired dishes created from locally grown vegetables, herbs and freshly caught fish, with meals in the thatched roof restaurant and outdoors by the pool or on the beach. House drinks are included, with premium beverages available at extra charge.
During your stay you should spare time to visit the spa where staff offer beauty treatments and massages to boost your well-being.
Although you may wish to do little more than laze by the pool or on the beach, the activities manager is on hand to help you explore the island, arranging visits to Stone Town, spice plantations, villages, snorkelling, diving, boat trips and sunset dhow cruises.
Each villa can be booked individually, sleeping between 2 and for people, or the resort can be taken in its entirety to accommodate a party of up to 18 guests.
